How strange would that be if Sullivan and the Golds let you buy the club off them.
Chairman of the Blues how cool would that be.
What would you change? Perhaps you'd rather sit on the board and take a back seat.
Would you spend £50 mil on a brand new stadium for the blue boys? or build a new main stand and name it.
No more buses to the game you could just fly in with your exec Helecopter.
You could go down has the person who changed the fortunes of BCFC for ever.

What would you do.

Sound, new original, positive post, not made by me :P

anyway I think I would sit back and let people do the stuff for me as I don't know much about runnign a club, but once I'd learnt a bit i would take control and have my say in transfers etc... I'd get a new main stand to save money :)

and i'd read this place for tips :P

i would appoint myself as manager :P come on here to ask advice from the older generation. Then stick the rest of the money into my bank account earning me interest to put into the clubs transfer funds in the future

Actually I wouldnt buy the club, I would help fund Dave Nugent and Jason Koumas, make em name a stand after me, buy a box and leave it at that

If I won it:

I reckon £29mil would be enough to buy the club out lock, stock and barrel, and provide a couple of mil for transfers. This is based on our last set of financial accounts.

My first act would be to call Brucio in the boardroom, hand him a cheque for 1/2 mil and tell him to bog off.

My second act would be to shake up the commerical department - to try and move away from looking after corporate fans, and bringing back the fans that have become disillusioned.

My third act would be to set plans up to knock down the main stand, and extend the tilton stand around the corner, to create a horseshoe shape around 3/4 of the pitch, leaving the railway stand as the only standalone stand.

If I won it - I would do it - but there is no way I'd run the club as anything BUT a business.

I'd go ahead with that 'City of Birmingham Stadium' but finance it myself instead of the super casino. I'd add a few other bits like a larger shopping centre, cinema etc. For the good of Birmingham (and more importantly, Small Heath, Bordsley Green, Alum Rock, Saltley) aswell as for the club.

I'd buy loads of season tickets and give them to everyone

I'd spend the rest of the money on Players, If I had any left.

What a fantastic question...and one that all of us have thought about I bet!

I've no idea how I would invest it in Birmingham City but a chunk of the money would definitely go into building a better Birmingham City football club for the fans. I would also start investing into how to improve our beautiful game for fans and not just for four teams with stupid wealth. I guess I think my money would perform a miracle!!

I'd buy Ast*n V*ll*, sell off all the assets, sell the ground to developers for landfill and forever remove the name from football.

That would cost about 30 bob :D

I'd give Birmingham City FC a few millions to bring in some decent players...and spend the rest of the money myself.
Maybe I'd buy the club if it it was enough!

I would:

> Donate £50m towards transfers for Brucie

> Put £50m toward the new stadium and get corporate investment to make up the other £250m.

> Try and make a profit out of the regenerisation around the new stadium.

> Keep £20m for myself :)
